Welcome to the Online Portal for the Center for Early Learning Professionals and the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards.
This online system allows program administrators, education staff and family child care educators the opportunity to register for the Center’s professional development offerings and RIELDS trainings. Registered users have access to their own personalized "dashboard" that tracks their Professional Development activities.
Who Should Register?
Any early childhood administrator or educator working in a DHS-licensed center or family child care home can join this system. There are different registration processes for Program Administrators and Educators.
If you are a public preschool administrator, please contact the Center for Early Learning Professionals at 401-736-9020 or info@center-elp.org to register your program.
Program Administrators
This includes: program directors or owners, education coordinators, public school administrators, and family child care owners.
If you are a program administrator, answer "Yes" to the question near the bottom of the sign-up form. Choose a username and password and select your program’s name from the dropdown list. Your application will be reviewed and approved within two business days; you will receive an email notification.
Once approved, you can log into the system and register for Center PD and RIELDS trainings. Each time you log in to the system, you will see your updated dashboard that lists your PD history and that of your staff. You will also be able to view reports of technical assistance visits conducted by Center staff.
Educators
If you are a teacher, teacher assistant, or family child care staff, you need to create an individual account. Choose a username and password and select your program’s name from the dropdown list. You can then log into the system and register for Center PD and RIELDS trainings.

Bienvenidos al portal en línea del Center for Early Learning Professionals
Este sistema en línea permite a los directores de los programas, líderes de los sitios, y al personal de los programas, la oportunidad de registrarse a los cursos que se ofrecen de Desarrollo Profesional, poder aplicar y dar seguimiento a las Subvenciones de Mejoramiento de Calidad, y revisar las actividades de asistencia técnica.
¿Quién debería registrarse?
Cualquier educador infantil puede unirse a este sistema. Existen diferentes procedimientos para Directores del Programa/ Líderes de los Sitios y Personal del Programa.
Directores de Programa/ Líderes de los Sitios
Esto incluye: directores del programa o propietarios, líderes de los sitios de cuidado infantil, líderes de escuelas públicas, y propietarios de guarderías familiares de cuidado infantil.
Sí usted es director del programa o líder del sitio, responda "Si" a está pregunta en la forma de registro. Su aplicación será revisada y aprobada en un día laborable. Una vez aprobada, usted puede aplicar y monitorear Subvenciones de Mejoramiento de Calidad, verificar asistencia técnica, y podrá registrarse y a su personal también a los cursos de Desarrollo Profesional (PD). Usted también podrá invitar a otros miembros de su personal a unirse al sistema.
Program Staff
Sí usted forma parte del personal del programa, usted necesita crear una cuenta individual. Elija un nombre de usuario y password, y seleccione su empleador de la lista que se despliega. Usted podrá entonces accesar al sistema en cualquier momento y registrarse a los cursos que se ofrecen en PD. Su historial de PD y una lista de futuros cursos se harán visibles en su pantalla al accesar al sistema.
